When existence together for iii weeks, a girls entered a song "Aloha Mr Hand" into a Open Youth Category for under-18s in the 1996 WAMI Awards. A 4 14 season olds (at a period) won a $1,000 prize, & come to the attention of manager Andrew Klippel.

Around 2001, nowadays renamed Lash & signed to Festival Mushroom Records, their first Two singles reached a top Forty Australian ARIAnet Singles Chart (Take Me Away and Beauty Queen). It toured Australia inside 2001 & 2002, & played inside Timor and Romania in 2002. a third lone manufactured the top Centred within 2002 (''Don't Ever Make My Mind Up). Their debut album by using these Triad singles was A Beautiful & The Cursedly, which too manufactured a top Fifty ARIAnet Albums Chart around 2002. Their song Beauty Queen was too featured on the Freaky Friday'' soundtrack in 2003.

A class action disbanded fallowing unfortunate album sales & amid criticism that it were "manufactured" by manager/producer/songwriter Andrew Klippel & producer/songwriter Barry Palmer and thus lacked a "credibility" ostensibly demanded of an Australian rock band.

Fallowing the break-higher of Lash, Belinda-Lee Reid has pursued a solo career. She was a subject of an episode of the Reality TV programme 'The Hit Game', which aired in Australia in Four October 2005, & showed her recording newly 'demonstration' by having Arnold palmer. Her debut solo ep A Road from either Lillyfield is freed around Australia late 2005.

Jess & Jaclyn currently play in the class action A Preytells.
